A work order app built around how your crews work
We build work order and field service apps for installers and maintenance teams: the office schedules jobs, technicians get them on their phones, and photos, signatures, hours and materials come back the same day - not on a crumpled sheet at the end of the week.
Overview
A digital work order replaces the paper job sheet that travels from the office to the van and back. The dispatcher creates the job and assigns it, the technician sees the address, the task, the equipment history and the client's contact on the phone, then records what was done, which parts were used and how long it took, adds photos and collects the client's signature. The office sees the job is finished the moment it is closed and can invoice the same day.
Plenty of good field service products exist, and if your work fits their standard flow - one job, one technician, one checklist - one of them is the faster choice. A custom app is worth building when your work does not fit: multi-day jobs with several crews, inspections with your own checklists, service contracts with recurring visits, or reports in a format your clients or inspectors require. It is also worth it when per-technician licences grow with every new hire.
Signs you need it
- Job sheets come back on Friday, half unreadable, and someone spends Monday typing them up.
- Technicians call the office to ask for the address, the door code or what was done last time.
- Materials used on site are forgotten, so they never reach the invoice.
- Clients dispute the work, and you have no photo, signature or time record to show them.
- The schedule lives on a whiteboard or in one person's calendar, and a sick day breaks it.
What a digital work order app includes
06- 01
Scheduling and dispatch
A planning board for the office: jobs by technician and day, drag to reassign, and recurring visits for service contracts created automatically.
- 02
Mobile app for technicians
Today's jobs, address and navigation, job and equipment history, and checklists - working in basements and plant rooms without signal, syncing when it returns.
- 03
Photos, signatures, time
Before and after photos, the client's signature on the screen, and start and finish times recorded on the job itself.
- 04
Materials on site
Parts and materials picked from your list or scanned from a barcode, so everything used on site lands on the invoice.
- 05
Job report for the client
A report in your format, generated when the job closes and sent to the client by e-mail, with photos and the signature attached.
- 06
Office overview
Open, finished and unbilled jobs at a glance, plus hours and materials per job, client or technician for invoicing and planning.
How we work
-
Ride along with a crew
We start by following real jobs - from the call to the invoice - and collect your current job sheets and checklists. The result is a written scope and a fixed price for the first version.
-
Pilot with one team
The first version goes to one crew for a few weeks. Technicians tell us what slows them down, and we fix it before everyone switches.
-
Switch over
We import clients, sites, equipment and price lists, train the office and crews in short sessions, and run paper in parallel only as long as needed.
-
Your development team
After launch we stay on a monthly basis as your development department: maintenance, new checklists, new job types and the reports clients start asking for.
No project price list. A fixed price before we start.
Every project is different, so the price depends on what you need and how much of it. The first call is free of charge, and you always get a fixed price in writing before any work starts - no surprises.
- 01The first call is free and commits you to nothing
- 02You get a fixed price in writing before work starts
- 03You own the code and data once the work is paid for
- 04Hourly work and extra developers: €40-60 per hour
- 05After launch: software maintenance and development, monthly

Questions
-
01 What is a digital work order?
A digital work order is a job record that lives in an app instead of on paper. The office creates and assigns it, the technician fills it in on the phone with the work done, materials, time, photos and the client's signature, and the office sees the result immediately. It removes retyping and lost sheets, and invoicing can start the same day.
-
02 Off-the-shelf field service software or a custom app?
If a ready-made product fits your jobs and checklists and its per-user price stays reasonable as you grow, choose it - we will say so. A custom app pays off when your work has its own structure: multi-day projects, several crews on one job, your own inspection forms, or reports in a fixed format. It also gives you full ownership of the data and no licence per technician.
-
03 Does the app work without mobile signal?
It should, and we build it that way. Technicians often work in basements, plant rooms or remote sites, so the app keeps the day's jobs on the phone, records everything offline and syncs when the connection returns. Photos are uploaded in the background so nobody waits on site.
-
04 Can the work order turn into an invoice automatically?
The closed work order carries everything an invoice needs: the client, the work done, hours and materials. We pass that to the invoicing software you already use, or prepare it for the office to check and send, so nothing used on site is forgotten. Who confirms the final invoice stays your decision.
-
05 Will our technicians actually use it?
They will if it is faster than paper. That means few screens, big buttons, the job's details already filled in and no typing where a photo or a tap will do. We test the first version with one crew and change it based on what they say before anyone else gets it.
-
06 How much does a work order app cost?
It depends on scope - the number of job types and checklists, whether you need scheduling for many crews, and the reports and data to be moved in. That is why we do not publish a price list. The first call is free, and the price is agreed in writing before work starts.
